Duke, a Great Dane, dozing in the study
Big dogs make the best company on a quiet evening. Here is Duke, stretched out on the red rug in a book-lined study, drifting off by the stove.
What Duke does
Duke settles his head down on his paws, his eyes grow heavy and he dozes off to sleep. A little later he stirs, lifts his head and looks about the room, then settles again.
The film loops, so his nap never really ends. Left playing in the evening, it's like having him stretched out on the rug beside you.
The portrait chosen
We made three portraits of Duke in the study, and this was the one most like him. Only once it was chosen did we bring it to life. Every order works the same way: you see your dog's portraits first, and you choose.
A Great Dane of your own?
Fawn, brindle, harlequin, merle, blue or black, ears natural or cropped: Danes vary a lot, and we want yours to look like yours. Tell us their colour and any markings, and send a photo that shows their whole length. Every size is welcome, from the smallest terrier to the tallest Dane.
