Getting photos without spoiling the surprise
Two or three clear photos are ideal: one from the side, one of their face, and one of anything special. You may already have some from walks or visits. A family member can often help too. Please only use photos you took, or that you have permission to use.
Making the moment
A lovely way to give one: put the TV version on a USB stick, tuck it into a card, and plug it in together. Or set it playing on their TV before they come into the room. If they have a digital photo frame that plays video, the frame version is shaped to fill it.
