Custom dog portraits

A portrait of your dog, made from your photos

Not a painting, and not a filter over a photo. A new picture of your dog, resting in a cosy room by the fire, made from the photos you send us and then brought gently to life.

Duke, a Great Dane, by the stove in the study.

Pet art that moves

Most pet portraits are paintings or prints. Ours is dog art you can watch. Your dog rests by the fire, breathes softly, dozes off, stirs and looks about the room, then settles again. It plays on a loop, so it can keep you company all evening on your TV or a digital photo frame.

From your photos to their portrait

  1. Send a few photos

Two or three clear photos give the truest likeness: one from the side showing their whole body and tail, one of their face, and one of anything special, like a patch or an ear that flops. Daylight is best. One photo is fine if that's all you have.
  2. Choose the one that's them

We make three portraits of your dog in the room you chose, and you pick the one most like them. If none is quite right, tell us what to change (the markings, the ears, the colour of their coat) and we'll make new ones, up to two more times.
  3. We bring it to life

The portrait you chose becomes a gentle, looping film, ready to download from your private order page.

Choose their room

Every room is made for your dog, so it will look a little different from these examples.

Every breed, every size

Terriers, Spaniels, Labradors, Great Danes and every mix in between. Tell us their size and breed, and anything special about how they look: the grey on their muzzle, the white tip on their tail, markings that are different on each side. The more we know, the more the portrait looks like them.

See it on four different dogs

A Boxer by the stove in a cottage, a Great Dane dozing in a study, a Jack Russell sniffing the rug in a log cabin, and a Border Collie by a gas fire. Each was made from photos, chosen from three portraits, then brought to life.

What you receive

Four video files, each shaped to fill a different screen without black bars: a TV (16:9), a digital photo frame (16:10), a tablet held sideways (4:3) and a phone held sideways (2:1). They play on almost any TV, photo frame, tablet, phone or computer. They stay on your order page for a year; keep a copy and they're yours for good. See how it works.

Questions

Is it a painting, a photo or AI?

It's a new picture of your dog, made with the help of AI tools and guided by your photos and notes, then brought to life as a gentle film. It isn't a copy of one of your photos, and you choose the portrait before anything is brought to life.

Will it really look like my dog?

That's what the choosing is for. You see three portraits first. If none is right, tell us what to change, like the markings, the ears or the colour of their coat, and we'll make new ones. The more you tell us about them, the closer the first portraits will be.

Can I choose a different room later?

You choose the room when you order. If you'd like to change it before you've chosen a portrait, email us and we'll help.

Do you make portraits of cats?

For now, dogs only: every breed, every size, and every mix.
